Want to document your family history, but don't know where to start? DCDL and DCGS will lead you through the research process so that you can take your knowledge and preserve your family's stories.
Join DCDL and the Delaware County Genealogical Society to start your journey into the world of family history!
Who, what, when, how, and where are some of the fundamental questions of genealogy that can be overwhelming to try and answer.
There will be a limited amount of laptops available to follow along, so it is recommended that you bring your own laptop or mobile device if you wish to go through the steps shown in the presentation.
This program will also take place at the Liberty Library on Saturday, August 17, 2024.

The 35,000 square foot Delaware Main Library is the oldest branch of our library system, which serves the public as well as houses a majority of our administrative offices. Located around the corner from downtown Delaware, it serves as our central branch for those on foot as well as those in a rush.
The Main Library also hosts the Delaware County Genealogical Society. Genealogical Society volunteers are in the Library to assist researchers on limited dates and by appointment.
DCDL welcomes all people to our programs and events. If you require ASL interpretation or other reasonable accommodations, please contact us at pr@delawarelibrary.org.
