Create a butterfly garden in the Orange Branch Library Imagination Garden. Learn about the importance of butterflies to our environment and how we can help protect them. For ages 9-12.
Butterflies are a common sight in meadows, forests, and gardens around the world. They play a vital role in our ecosystem and have a significant impact on the environment. One way of helping butterflies is to make outdoor spaces butterfly-friendly. We will create a container butterfly garden using native flowers that local butterflies can feed on. As part of our butterfly garden, we will make a butterfly sand puddle to provide a source of water for them.
