Santa has lost his reindeer Dasher, and we need your help to find him! Start at the library, then explore downtown following Santa's clues. Great for families with elementary-aged kids! Drop-in 11-1.
Park and begin at the Delaware Main Library, 84 E Winter St. anytime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Clues will not be given after 1 p.m.
Santa's elves (and our friends at the Library and Main Street Delaware) will get your family started with your first clue and the beginning of a progressive craft that you will make along the way. By the end, you'll have completed a fun holiday craft and helped Santa find Dasher!
The scavenger hunt happens rain or shine! Dress for the weather and bring a stroller for potentially tired little legs along the way. The route will take participants to 5 stops total at a distance of approximately .5 miles (for a total loop of less than 1 mile).

The 35,000 square foot Delaware Main Library is the oldest branch of our library system, which serves the public as well as houses a majority of our administrative offices. Located around the corner from downtown Delaware, it serves as our central branch for those on foot as well as those in a rush.
The Main Library also hosts the Delaware County Genealogical Society. Genealogical Society volunteers are in the Library to assist researchers on limited dates and by appointment.
DCDL welcomes all people to our programs and events. If you require ASL interpretation or other reasonable accommodations, please contact us at pr@delawarelibrary.org.
