National Voter Registration Day is dedicated to getting eligible Ohioans registered to vote ahead of the October 7 deadline. Join the League of Women Voters at any DCDL location and register!
Every year, millions of eligible voters are unable to cast a ballot because of frustrating stumbling blocks like missed deadlines, outdated information, or other easily fixable paperwork problems.
Life Changes? A lot can happen in four years that may require an updated voter registration—a move across town or state lines, marriage or separation, a name change, naturalization, or just turning 18—and National Voter Registration Day is the perfect day to do it.
Stop by any branch of the Delaware County District Library and receive information from our partners at the League of Women Voters, learn about your voting rights, and get registered to vote! The Library will even turn in your completed voter registration application to the Delaware County Board of Elections on your behalf.

The 35,000 square foot Delaware Main Library is the oldest branch of our library system, which serves the public as well as houses a majority of our administrative offices. Located around the corner from downtown Delaware, it serves as our central branch for those on foot as well as those in a rush.
The Main Library also hosts the Delaware County Genealogical Society. Genealogical Society volunteers are in the Library to assist researchers on limited dates and by appointment.
DCDL welcomes all people to our programs and events. If you require ASL interpretation or other reasonable accommodations, please contact us at pr@delawarelibrary.org.
