Hear from Molly Brown, philanthropist, American socialite, and survivor of the sinking of the Titanic, as she's brought to life by the Women in History performer. Registration Required.

There is more to the Unsinkable Molly Brown than has been portrayed in movies and television.  She is well known for urging the crew in the lifeboat to return to the ship to look for survivors, and assisting in the evacuation of many women and children on the RMS Titanic in 1912; But hear more about who she was before the Titanic, and the life she went on to lead after as a suffragist and fundraiser for charitable social organizations. Registration Required.

 

Women In History Ohio is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the education of all people through the dramatic re-creation of lives of notable women in history.

About the branch

The newest branch in the Delaware County District Library system, the Liberty Branch Library opened Monday, March 27, 2023 to serve the greater Powell and Liberty Township community. Located just west of Liberty High School in the Olentangy School District, the branch boasts 42,000 square feet on three levels to meet the needs of all residents.
