This session will look at the process of operating the laser cutter to engrave an object. We'll cover the process while also answering questions about design considerations.
This class will look at both the process of operating the laser engraver, while also answering questions about the design process. We'll look at what it takes to put a simple design together, then send that file with the proper settings to the laser for engraving.

The Maker Studio functions as both an educational center for STEAM activities, as well as an open digital fabrication and creation studio for the public. It includes a 3-D printer, vinyl cutter, laser cutter/engraver, sewing machines and more for use by the public during open lab hours.
