Have more questions?  Check out our FAQ below, or ask one of our staff members for help.

How long is the seed swap? The seed swap is from November 1 - 15.

Do I have to bring seeds to swap them? No, anyone can take seeds, and you can drop some off without picking any up as well.

What seeds can I bring? Any seeds are welcome! As long as they are dry, labeled, and viable (to the best of your knowledge).

What do I need to label my seed bags with? Seed bags need to have the name (common, but please add scientific if applicable), date collected, and any relevant information regarding germination or planting.

What do I put the seeds in?

All seeds must be placed in a breathable and sealable bag. Paper envelopes are usually best to use and the library will be providing a small amount of them, if needed.
