Learn about the Japanese art of cutting and folding paper to create intricate 3D shapes! Adults & teens.
Join us as we explore the history of Kirigami, an art form that has recently been deployed in engineering and robotics to allow 2D materials to easily transform into 3D shapes. We will have 3D printed examples on hand from our own Maker Studio and attendees will also be encouraged to try to cut and fold their own creations. Paper will be provided. Adults and teens only, please.
