Calling all tea fanatics! Learn the basics of tea blending and infusing, then bring home a custom blend to steep and enjoy. Ages 13-17. Registration required.

Topics covered in this session:

  • What are the basic tea bases (what are their flavors, caffeine levels, etc)
  • What are infusers, and how do you create them at home
  • How long to steep different varieties of tea
  • Health benefits of tea
  • How to blend tea

All materials will be provided, and attendees can bring their custom blend home with them to enjoy later!

About the branch

The 35,000 square foot Delaware Branch Library is the oldest branch of our library system, which serves the public as well as houses a majority of our administrative offices. Located around the corner from downtown Delaware, it serves as our central branch for those on foot as well as those in a rush. 


The Delaware Library also hosts the Delaware County Genealogical Society. Genealogical Society volunteers are in the Library to assist researchers on limited dates and by appointment.
