America 250 Homecoming Picnic

Orange Imagination Garden, Orange Programming RoomBring your friends & family to the Orange Branch for an afternoon of fun. Celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with live music, food trucks, games, & more!
Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and join your neighbors in the Imagination Garden for a picnic! The first 50 families in attendance will receive a celebration kit from the America 250-Ohio commission. (While supplies last.) Historical figures Ida B. Wells and Sacagawea will be attending the picnic. Chat with them to learn about their American experiences!
The picnic will be opened with remarks from Delaware County Commissioner Jeff Benton and Orange Township Trustee Erica Fouss at 1:30 p.m.
Enjoy a musical performance by the Central Ohio Symphony at 2 p.m.
Games: Lawn games will include:
- Giant Connect 4
- Cornhole
Food: Bring your own snacks or enjoy a meal from a local food truck. Food trucks expected to attend:
Parking: Additional parking will be available at The Animal Health Organization (TAHO) and Penguin Crossing Academy parking lots, located on Gooding Blvd. across the street from the Orange Branch Library. Please do not park on Gooding Blvd. Additional opportunities for parking and walking along the walking/bike paths are available.

Orange Branch Library
The Orange Branch Library is located in Orange Township just north of the township's fire station, park and pool. At 33,000 square feet, this branch has a drive-up book drop and drive through pick-up window, along with many other special sustainable building features. The building also houses our Outreach Services Department and the Imagination Garden.
