Collage a unique book with us! Supplies provided, but you can bring your own unique stickers, collage paper, and doodles to incorporate. Registration required. Ages 9-12.

A junk journal is a handmade book that is created from upcycled materials, like magazine clippings, ticket stubs, and notes. If you enjoy the artistic process of collage, you'll enjoy your time learning about junk journaling! Our librarian will showcase a few design suggestions and book-making techniques, with the majority of the time dedicated to creating your own junk journal. The library will provide the materials, although participants are encouraged to bring their own unique stickers, collage paper, and doodles to incorporate into their book. 

Registration required. The content of this program is intended for tweens, approximately ages 9-12.

This program will also be offered at Orange Branch Library on Thursday, November 12.

About the branch

The newest branch in the Delaware County District Library system, the Liberty Branch Library opened Monday, March 27, 2023 to serve the greater Powell and Liberty Township community. Located just west of Liberty High School in the Olentangy School District, the branch boasts 42,000 square feet on three levels to meet the needs of all residents.
