Join the Upcycling Center at OWU for a hands-on exploration of circular economy through the art of creative reuse. Supplies provided. Registration required.

In this workshop, we’ll dive into the innards of old electronics to see what they’re made of. With gentle encouragement, you’ll "smash and stitch" discarded technology into unique, upcycled art or jewelry. We provide the gadgets, the tools, and a "bricolage" of additional materials—from keyboard keys to circuit sheets—to help you transform high-tech waste into your own creative wonder. 

Can't make it on this time? The Orange Branch will also be hosting the same craft later in the day.

About the branch

The newest branch in the Delaware County District Library system, the Liberty Branch Library opened Monday, March 27, 2023 to serve the greater Powell and Liberty Township community. Located just west of Liberty High School in the Olentangy School District, the branch boasts 42,000 square feet on three levels to meet the needs of all residents.
