Each month we will explore the world through reading stories set in various countries while also sampling the ethnic cuisine of our book selection.

Come enjoy a diversity of cultures and cuisines as we read our way around the world.

In January, as we welcome the new year, we will be reading The Brilliant Life of Eudora Honeysett by Annie Lyons. The setting for our book selection is the United Kingdom. It is described as a heartwarming story of finding joy when one wants to just give up.  As we turn the page on 2020, we need what this book provides- a good dose of hope and perspective to persevere despite the difficulties of this life, because there is much that is worthwhile.

Since this is a newer title, there will be a long waitlist. I have reserved a few copies, so email me (jkelch@delawarelibrary.org) if you need a copy of the book.

Added Bonus: The Friends of the Library will be hosting a virtual author visit with author Annie Lyons on January 28! Reserve your ticket today.

Prior to the virtual meeting, you will receive an invitation email for the Zoom session.
