January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. As a platform for discussion on this topic, participants will read the young adult book "Traffick" by Ellen Hopkins and come prepared to talk about it.
Participants may place a hold on a copy of the book, which is available in hardback, audio and in eBook formats.
The discussion will take place via Zoom. An invite email will be sent to each registrant with the link to join prior to the meeting.
Please be advised that due to the graphic nature of this topic the program is recommended for mature teens grades 10-12 and for adults.
The book club will be offered on Thursday, January 28 beginning at 7 PM.
Please also consider joining us prior to the book club meeting for an informational meeting on the status of human trafficking in Delaware County. The meeting takes place on January 20 at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom. Please register your attendance here.
These programs are presented in partnership with Delaware County Against Human Trafficking Coalition.
