For Teen Dating Violence Awareness month, the library has partnered with local organizations to present a book discussion and visit with author Amber Smith.
In recognition of Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month in February, teens (ages 14+) and adults are invited to join a community book discussion and visit with Amber Smith, author of the Young Adult novel The Way I Used to Be.
Readers should come prepared to hear a short presentation from the author followed by a Q&A. HelpLine’s SARN (Sexual Assault Response Network) Coordinator will be available to provide supportive information and referrals and to assist if anyone has a trigger response during or after the discussion.
