Delaware Community RoomThe new Delaware County District Library Director Bryan Howard will be hosting open office hours at each Library location this month to become better acquainted with the community.
Visits are completely open to the public and all are welcome to stop by. Light refreshments will be provided at the visits.
Meet Bryan on the following dates:
- Wednesday, October 5 at the Delaware Main Library (84 E Winter St, Delaware) 1 – 3 p.m.
- Thursday, October 6 at the Ostrander Branch Library (75 N Fourth St, Ostrander) 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. (updated)
- Wednesday, October 12 at the Powell Branch Library (460 S Liberty Rd, Powell) 1 – 3 p.m.
- Thursday, October 13 at the Orange Branch Library (7171 Gooding Blvd, Delaware) 4 – 6 p.m.

Delaware Branch Library
The 35,000 square foot Delaware Branch Library is the oldest branch of our library system, which serves the public as well as houses a majority of our administrative offices. Located around the corner from downtown Delaware, it serves as our central branch for those on foot as well as those in a rush.
The Delaware Library also hosts the Delaware County Genealogical Society. Genealogical Society volunteers are in the Library to assist researchers on limited dates and by appointment.
