Using Affinity Designer, participants will lay out a simple holiday card, then move over to the laser cutter to turn their designs into custom-cut greeting cards.
This program covers the following items on the Laser Track of the Maker Studio Passport: "Hands-on machine tutorial" and "Cut an object."

The Maker Studio functions as both an educational center for STEAM activities, as well as an open digital fabrication and creation studio for the public. It includes a 3-D printer, vinyl cutter, laser cutter/engraver, sewing machines and more for use by the public during open lab hours.
