Looking for a place to hang out with fellow writers? "DCDL Come Write-In!" gives you the time and space to write. Just write! No formal critiquing. Bring your own laptop or use DCDL laptops.
Celebrate National Novel Writing Month and make progress on your own writing with the Delaware County District Library.
Sessions will be held every Saturday during the month of November in the Community Meeting Room. Food and drink are welcome to be eaten in the room, as we know sustenance is an important component to writing! If you're looking for caffeine or food while you are writing, ask any of our librarians or staff for their recommendations of places within walking distance. Downtown Delaware has plenty!

The 35,000 square foot Delaware Main Library is the oldest branch of our library system, which serves the public as well as houses a majority of our administrative offices. Located around the corner from downtown Delaware, it serves as our central branch for those on foot as well as those in a rush.
The Main Library also hosts the Delaware County Genealogical Society. Genealogical Society volunteers are in the Library to assist researchers on limited dates and by appointment.
DCDL welcomes all people to our programs and events. If you require ASL interpretation or other reasonable accommodations, please contact us at pr@delawarelibrary.org.
