Steve Harpster, comic book author, and children's educational presenter, will guide children in the development of their own published books.

Each child will receive a professionally bound book with a duplicate copy added to the Delaware County District Library collection! 

Two sessions will take place: 

  • 10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • 1:30 - 4:00 p.m.

Pre-registration is required, and the $15 ticket may be purchased via the Friends of Library's Eventbrite.

Friends of the Library members receive a $5 discount! Join to get a code when registration opens!

Additional copies of your child's book may be ordered on the day of the event for $7 each.

About the branch

The 35,000 square foot Delaware Main Library is the oldest branch of our library system, which serves the public as well as houses a majority of our administrative offices. Located around the corner from downtown Delaware, it serves as our central branch for those on foot as well as those in a rush. 


The Main Library also hosts the Delaware County Genealogical Society. Genealogical Society volunteers are in the Library to assist researchers on limited dates and by appointment.
