The Delaware County District Library invites you to join us for a formal ribbon-cutting at 1:00 p.m. followed by the Grand Opening celebration of the Liberty Branch Library.
The celebration will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and remarks from Library and local leadership at 1:00 p.m. As soon as the ribbon is cut, we welcome everyone to explore the new library, located at 7468 Steitz Road in Powell, Ohio.
Enjoy entertainment, self-guided tours, and an appearance from our mascot, Percy.

While we won't be checking out books at the grand opening celebration, all visitors can take the opportunity to sign up for a DCDL card, or update their home library to the Liberty Branch.
Regular operating hours begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 27!

The newest branch in the Delaware County District Library system, the Liberty Branch Library opened Monday, March 27, 2023 to serve the greater Powell and Liberty Township community. Located just west of Liberty High School in the Olentangy School District, the branch boasts 42,000 square feet on three levels to meet the needs of all residents.
