Terry Hermsen, Coordinator for NCOPP, will discuss why native plants matter and the rich soils that prairies created over centuries, which gave American agriculture its start. Registration required.
You will learn about the history of native plants and prairie soil, basic ways that you can transform your yard, and listen to “the sounds of prairie seeds” in a video showcasing Cadine Navarro’s art installation called ‘It Sounds Like Love.’

The Orange Branch Library is located in Orange Township just north of the township's fire station, park and pool. At 33,000 square feet, this branch has a drive-up book drop and drive through pick-up window, along with many other special sustainable building features. The building also houses our Outreach Services Department and the Imagination Garden.
