Painting recycled tin cans can be fun, especially when you release your creativity! Celebrate sustainability and transform tin cans into beautiful containers for plants and flowers. Discover the significance of recycling and how plants contribute to a healthier environment. Add potting soil and flowers, then take your planter with you to enjoy at home. Materials will be provided.

Unfamiliar with "STEAM?" STEAM is an educational approach that incorporates the arts into the more-familiar STEM model, which includes science, technology, engineering and mathematics. STEAM programs can also include any of the visual or performing arts, such as dance, design, painting, photography and writing.

About the branch

The Orange Branch Library is located in Orange Township just north of the township's fire station, park and pool. At 33,000 square feet, this branch has a drive-up book drop and drive through pick-up window, along with many other special sustainable building features. The building also houses our Outreach Services Department and the Imagination Garden.
