January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. A panel of representatives from the Delaware County Against Human Trafficking Coalition will provide up-to-date information on this topic.
Learn the basic facts about what human trafficking is, how to recognize it, how to report it and what is being done to stop it locally and nationally. Awareness of the problem is a beginning.
*Please note that while teens are invited to attend this program and learn about this subject, it deals with a sensitive and graphic subject and is intended for mature audiences only.
Attendees may also be interested in attending the adult/teen book discussion of the book "Traffick" by Ellen Hopkins on January 28. Please register your attendance here.
